15 Ltr. Acerbis Tank?

Anschauen zu sehen, Wenn irgendjemand ein 15 Ltr haben dürfte. Acerbistank der sie dürften sein bereit zu Teil mit? Ich habe ein Bild des Tanks befestigt, den ich suche. Ich bin auch nicht sicher, wenn es ein Acerbis Tank ist? Ich möchte es auf meinem 1979 XT500 stellen. Dank so viel für irgendeine Hilfe, dass Sie mich geben können. Traurig, wenn ein dies auf dem falschen Fleck und traurig aufgestellt hat, wenn die Übersetzung arm ist, benutze ich ein Englisch zu deutschem Übersetzer.

Judging by your post, you're after someone who is running a 15Ltr. Acerbis on his XT and you presumably have some fitting issues ?

Now the penny dropped. There's an ad-section directly on XT500.org (Suche-Tausche-Verkaufe) and then just post in the Suche (wanted) section of it.

Why do you want to go for the 15Ltr and not the more common 20Ltr unit ?
And yes it was manufactured by Acerbis. Usually they go quite cheap anyway.
Also check out ebay.de (Germany) as quite a lot of the folks overhere qualify a bit as anoraks, so they flog 'em cheaply.

maybe have a look at Clarke tanks.
The tank mentioned for the XT fits smoothly and is more comfortable than the 15l Acerbis...

I just like the look of the 15 Ltr. Bad reason I know! hahahaha...
Also right now I carry about 14 liter's of gas, 9 in the stock tank and a 5 Ltr. Jerry can when I'm touring.
Most of our riding is pretty heavy trails so I am also worried about the 20 Ltr. being to heavy.

I would suspect, that the 20Ltr Acerbis-Tank is actually narrower than the 15Ltr, that said, if you like the 15Ltr, go and get one.

But just look for "Acerbis Tank" on German ebay, as the tank is generic.

Hey Whitenoise,

I'm an owner of that kind of Acerbis tank. A really ugly red one which is covered with black painture very badly. I have to say, that I've never used it... It's look is not that bad but if you want to do some offroad seriously it might be not slim enough and I guess your knees would hit some edges if you're taller than 1,75m. Just try it... they're not that expensive in ebay.de. I guess I've got mine (really ugly) for about 11 euros...
